What was this kid's TV programme?

Can anyone remember a TV programme about a girl with a bear rucksack and I think the bear used to talk. I can't remember the name of it and it's bugging me. I've tried to google but all I can find are bear rucksacks for sale. I think it must have been 80s.

    It's a bit later than the 80s, but It's not Dora the Explorer is it?

    No haha :D It was a real girl in it, not a cartoon.

    I went to school with the girl in it but I can't for the life of me remember anything else about it.

    No it's not that either, way older than that.

    It may have been a koala not a bear.

    i watched a tv cartoon bear too..he was always in a boat in the sea..is it same bear

    I use to watch that show. I think it may have been called 'A Bear Behind'. This description from imdb seems to describe it as i remember.

    Edit:

    The bear was called Boz, and the girl was apparently played by Lindsey Coulson (Yes, Carol Jackson from Eastenders)

    After looking on the BBC Genome project website, I remember some of those episodes, so i'm pretty sure this is the show you're looking for.

    That's the show my husband came up with too. I didn't think it was that but I can't find anything about another show anywhere. It's confusing me as I am positive I went to school with a girl who was in it, but Lindsey Coulson has 20 years on me :D
    Perhaps the girl was in one episode :confused:
