Pay Point bill payments.

I went to a local shop yesterday that did the paypoint payments, and paid my Dad's phone bill with my Nat West debit card. Just got a mini statement from the cash machine today and it hasn't been shown as gone out yet.

Anyone know how long they take approx?

    Could take a few days but it will come out of your bank at some point.

    Thanks, thought it was instant tbh, like a debit payment in a shop.

    Bit relieved as it would have taken me overdrawn, my wages go in Thursday so I should be OK.

    bare in mind payment will just be a regular debit payment to that shop (on your statement), so it will be as long as a normal debit gets taken out of your account when you use your card, mine ranges from a day to six days usually.

    I pay a bill by pay point every month, It usually takes between 4-6 days to be taken from my bank.
