Who do you think has the best Christmas ad this year?

I think John Lewis. Not as good as last year, but still good!

What do you all think?

    Which ones the Tesco ad?

Is it the one with the family recording from like 1997? If it is I do like that one!

It's only short, but I love the Very.co.uk one, largely down to the funky Silent Night remix.

All ads get tiresome very quickly after a viewing - Xmas ads seem to be on an hourly loop, the JL one would benefit from a different song - something instrumental and festive.

I still think the Coca Cola adis the best - and the one I always look forward to as it's part of "Christmas".

Took me ages to work out what the John Lewis ad meant (Doh!)

But the DFS ads are super - they're having a sale on Boxing Day!

Could it be that 'LouisJohn' is actually the marketing department of John Lewis (or Tesco) trying to get us to do their job for them?

Personally in this modern age of I-players and catch-up TV I don't need to watch adverts so I've never seen any of them.

John Lewis has Lily Allen, so that's out.
Morrisons has C*nt and D*ck, so that's out.
M&S has young woman in her scanties - gets my vote!

Shouldn't this be titled 'Who has the least worse Christmas ad?'

Has to be the Coke advert for me. You know Christmas is on its way when they show it.

    Best - John Lewis.

    Worst (by a country mile!) - Sainsbury's.

The Aldi advert with the little girl building a snowman. Short but funny.

Yeah that would seem more appropriate. Christmas ads are cringey and annoying, i don't know how anyone could like any of them.

I really like the John Lewis one. The music really complements the beautiful animation.

    John Lewis.

Coca Cola would win if they didn't alter the 'Holidays are Coming' advert, just play the original!

I think all their ads are excellent.
It was a DS poster in another thread who posted a clip explaining how they were done. Up till then I could never be sure whether they were all human or shop window mannequins! :o
