During the opening night of Phoenix Nights, Ted Robbins (playing Den Perry) collapsed of what appeared to be a heart attack during a solo spot. The curtains were drawn and a paramedic was called to the stage. The show was then promptly cancelled. Thoughts and best wishes to Ted and family.

Didnt he present Chain Letters?
(His sister Kate is a damm good impressionist & had a hit record in 1980! Other sister Amy was in The Royal. Isnt Kate's daughter in showbiz too?)
First cousin once removed, which means one of his parents is Macca's cousin.
Are you for real! He may have had a heart attack, so not nice.
He was in Phoenix Nights funnily enough.
better known in the industry than outside it as he has done alot of warm- up work for shows. He was in Little Britain and. rather obviously, Phoenix Nights. He's related to Paul McCartney and sister Kate did a lot of the voices on Spitting Image.Oh, and he did a one man show about Les Dawson.
A very warm and likeable guy. Hope he gets well soon.
