Cheap, basic TV. Should be fine for what you want unless you are particular about picture quality/sound quality.

Are you planning on using the 3D function much?

With the TV being wall mounted, passive 3D isn't ideal if you're not watching from a "straight-on" angle.

Get a tilting mount so that you can get your viewing angles right and you shouldn't have a problem.

Reviews seem very mixed . not really bothered about 3D but I will take on board the comment about the mounting,it will be wall mounted and directly at the foot of the bed,so viewing will be directly on

It's out of stock anyway. You'd be a lot better off buying the Panasonic TX-L39B6B 39-inch Freeview HD Full HD LED TV from Amazon for £350.

We purchased one on the spur of the moment entirely on price and as an impulse buy to cheer us up having dropped our daughter at uni earlier that afternoon. It replaces a 32" model of several years vintage and I have to say that with the Virgin Media Tivo box feeding it HD it's a cracking picture. Sound is abysmal, but I purchased some Logitech 2.1 speakers and that is a dramatic improvement. My daughter came home for the weekend and she and her boyfriend were very impressed with the picture, sound and price! 3D is a complete waste of time.

    I guess its ok as a £279 3D TV , I would not pay £429 for it

The Sky remote code to set up a Rev 9 Sky remote to work this tv is 2134 if it helps
