Does anyone's sex life resemble the way it is on screen?
I watched the dogging show on channel4/5 last week and that was horrible.

Porn actors are screened before intercourse, can usually choose who they have sex with and get paid well to do it. The same cannot be said about some random couple in a car off the M4.

Most mainstream porn is American porn, which as a piece of art is terrible. It is vulgar, crude and obnoxious. The men are usually grotesque, grunting morons and the actresses don't know when to shut up with their OTT screams. There is zero sensuality. European porn, however, can be very different. Most European directors seem to understand the art of eroticism. Blowjobs don't involve the women gagging and dribbling, like in American porn, instead they are slow and sensual. The sex isn't aggressive, unless the passion of the scene calls for it, and even then it is in good taste. Sex noises are realistic and there tends to be a genuine chemistry between the actors.

A couple of months ago someone posted on a sex thread that the quantity of sex might go down as you get older but when it does happen it's much more intense. I know exactly what they mean and would completely agree with that.
