    It never is.

Not on Christmas Eve either when it could be easily in it's usual slot.

Well there has been nothing Christmas like on Hollyoaks and the lack of it does explain why they would not want it on the Friday. The thing is it is going up against strong shows whereas usually it would just go against the News plus working it out if you look at the tv schedules it would have to be on very late and therefore be damaging or very early and receive hundreds of complaints for being too gruesome with the India plot on Christmas day when more kids watch tv. (You are bound to get a few hundred out there)

It would be interesting to see the viewing figures if HO was on on Christmas day.

Hollyoaks is never aired on a christmas day - to the best of my knowledge it never has been.

Generally Ch4 collapses at Xmas in the ratings, hence why HO has never appeared.

Not that Hollyoaks makes a big differance in that:D

Hollyoaks would get caught up with all the big Xmas shows
Dr who and Emmerdale would be airing at 6:00pm-7:00pm

SCD and Corrie would follow in the next hour -7-00pm-8:00pm

    and EastEnders will air 8:00pm-9:00pm

So there would be no where for it to go

I'm kind of glad it's not airing on Christmas Day... otherwise that would be 4 hours of soap for me to watch :D (assuming it had an hour long episode too).
