Welcome all, new and old, to the 2011-12 DS Premier League Prediction competition, running for the sixth consecutive season no less. For those that haven’t played before, the rules are fairly simple: Simply predict the scoreline of every single match over the entire 38 match season. For every successful prediction, points will be awarded thus:
Correct result: i.e you pick the right winner of a match, or successfully select a draw: 2 points
Ditto but achieving the correct SCORELINE too: 5 points
Ditto last but in a game with four or more goals: 7 points
(I have decide to keep the points the same after much deliberation.)
The only other rule is you may only select identical scorelines in four of the ten matches each week. NB: Going for a 2-1 home win does not constitute an identical prediction to a 2-1 away win.
If you miss a week, don’t worry too much, as only your best 35 of 38 weekly scores will ultimately count. It also gives you room for the occasional stinker.
No timewasters please as it takes a lot of time calculating the scores and doing the tables. Only enter if you're prepared to stick with it all season. Cheers
Any queries please either raise them on the thread or PM me. Good luck!
Roll of honour:
2006-07: Tennis Maestro
2007-08: Tokyo
2008-09: Tokyo
2009-10: Arthur Pringle (now playing as Shrewn)
2010-11: Sattrega

One question - is there still a bonus for getting all 10 outcomes correct (not that that happens very often (or even at all))
