Bred a Houndour with perfect HP, sp Defense, Attack, Defense and Speed Would have liked perfect sp Attack but its my first ever Pokemon bred for IVs. Only took me about 50 eggs and some unnatural acts involving a Growlithe, a Ditto and the cr@ppy original Houndour Ru traded me
I guess Wonder Trade is the Pokemon equivalent of throwing a sackful of excess Houndour puppies in the canal:o Though I released all the really poor ones. No one deserved them, even the people who wonder trade level 3 Zigzagoon. Run free little ones:D
Just need to raise it right now. Off to the Battle Mason to get some power items. Then work out how to use them to improve EVs lol.
I've bred Eevees with almost perfect IVs, of course plainly for the evolutions! Evolved an Espeon from the original Eevee I caught, now working on Vaporeon from one of the Eevees with 5/6 perfect IVs

'Matt' is ghost type with lampent and phantump

I'm surprised at how easy it was compared to the Black and White Pokemon League.
I did it yesterday - and I was surprised as well. I normally get my arse handed to me on a plate when I take it on for the first time, but I was able to do it first time.
Although, truth be told, Diantha's Gardevoir did hand my Butterfree an arse-whooping on several occasions. Thank God for the Max Revives I had discovered, as well as the Max Potions that I had bought beforehand.
Now I'm trying to figure out what to do next. Normally the guidebook would help, but this time it's woefully thin.
Just got my frogadier with the protean ability thanks to am-jam. This friend safari malarkey can be great fun but it is slightly irritating having to 'farm friends' and wait for them to be online. Somehow think it could have been implemented slightly better...
I tried the chain fishing thing tonight having only tried it once before. I really got the hang of it and found three shinies in the space of an hour! Gorebyss, Octillery and Corsola. I'm so happy it's the first time I've ever actively hunted shinies and got them! Usually I fail miserably.
I've been breeding Eevees so I can get a female one for when I evolve it into a Sylveon. After so many males, I finally got a female but with the Run Away ability instead of Adaptability. I was wondering if it actually matters what the ability is because will it just end up changing when I evolve the Eevee?

Eevees two normal abilities (run away and adaptability) change to cute charm on Sylveon, so it doesn't matter which one you have if you want cute charm.
If the Eevee has it's hidden ability, 'Anticipation', the Sylveon will have the ability 'Pixilate'. It turns normal moves to fairy ones.
If you have a hidden ability male, only breeding with a ditto will have a chance of passing on the hidden ability.
