    In some people's opinion.

Anyway the whole thing is a farce. If the Sun has supported Labour and they had returned to power in 2010 the scandal would never have been broken by the Guardian and Murdoch would now own BSkyB and still be going in the back door of No 10.

The Guardian first ran with this story in 2009, when Labour were still in power. NI managed to shut it down before the full extent of the hacking was revealed, but the Guardian kept digging until we all know what we know now.

The Guardian is an honest paper, and while it does lean to the left it does not create falsehoods to promote any particular person or party, but keeps opinion to editorial and comments. Incidently, a few years ago a group of historians went over old newspapers, comparing the news as it was published at the time, with what we now know to be the case. The Guardian came out as the most accurate in terms of it's reporting.
