this may sound techie but while i was scanning the muxes on the pontop pike there was 2 'slots' which has small credentials but not video/audio/lcn/names etc. but there was 2 of them(not the blank mhegs) maybe its for a TOSS channel and itv+1/mini citv/quest1+1

I have two slots on the ITV/Ch4 Multiplex labelled as 8294and 8353
They have appeared as new services however as my Freeview PVR doesn't allow you to delete channels I haven't added them. I will wait to see if they are given proper names or find out what they are before I add them.
This is a changelog and not appropriate for discussion. The services mentioned on Mux 2 are the former ITV3 & ITV4 with a retune message if you hadn't retuned. See www.10ash.info/ and have a look at bit rates.

As far as I am aware the two services appeared somewhere between the 6th October and yesterday (6th October was when I did a complete re-scan afetr returning from a 2 week holiday - I missed all the fun on the 30th September). So if they were the retune messages they would have been there when I scanned on the 6th (and would be up in the 800's with the five re-tune message).
The pre DSO split NIT has been changed yet again with details of muxes 1, 2 and A in section 1 and muxes B, C & D in section 2. Prior to yesterday the first four muxes were contained in section 1. The present arrangement may be more permanent and may be connected with the loss of Supercasino yesterday. Source: Direct Observation.

No it doesn't. The info about launching Tuesday was on-screen. I just provided a link to the channel's website.
I did say in my original post that I could not find online details on the "launch".
Expect a new CH98 to appear soon.
The channel looks like a Babestation clone, ie a premium rate phone-in.
yeepee that just that freeview needs :D
