Last few years, it's been a case of heading down to the big Wetherspoons in town where everybody between the ages of about 18 and 30 in my town congregate. It's sort of a tradition.

However, I'm considering not bothering this year because it's too busy so you can't get a drink or a seat, I hate the pub (and haven't been there since last Xmas Eve as a result of hating it!) and I don't think I can fake an interest in the lives of people I've not seen since last year (bah humbug!).

So will either see my actual friends or watch TV at home :)

I've also got to go to the dentist in the morning which is highly festive!

    Good luck with that!

Thanks! It's only for a clean which he forgot to do the last time I went - I've been to the dentist 5 times in 2 months because of a series of cock-ups! Hoping that's the last time for a while!

    Work until 10.30 a.m
Do a bit of food shopping
    Go home tidy round
Visit the brother and his family with some presents as won't see them Christmas Day
    Tea with the Mother,
    Veg prep
Then in front of the tele for the night.
Love having teenagers, no sneaking around all night, picking up presents from various houses where I'd hid them, no waiting until they asleep to get the presents into the living room, no putting together fiddly toys (playmobile zoo took 4 hours!)...,,ah bliss

    Laundry, cleaning etc
Any last minute wrapping that turns up, I think I've got it all done but there's always something
Make (ie put together) gingerbread house and decorate it with my daughter

I still do this and mine are 21 and 23, it's somehow become a family tradition! I'm not sure whether to suggest we drop it this year, it gets a bit exhausting when they don't go to bed till past midnight!

Dunno when I'm getting off work - it was 1pm last year, but it's all down to the lot in Finance when we're allowed to leave. (Well, I say "work" - it mostly consisted of me playing with my iPhone, eating mince pies and staring at my Benedict Cumberbatch wallpaper.)

Post here before going out about 7pm with some friends getting drunk, then going to one of my FWBs (don't know which one yet) and having my wicked way with them before going home.
