How long are you off for Xmas for?

I finish at 12.00 on Xmas Eve and have a week off. Am supposed to be going in NYE but going to pull a sickie because Im going away for it but couldnt get the time off so Ill be off from Xmas Eve until Jan 2nd :D

    I have 8 weeks holidays a year but Xmas time is terrible to get time off. I only have the bank holidays and new years eve off!! Awful!!

    None of it, other than the 28th-31st. Then back in again on the 1st!

    Had these days off the past few years and will have them off again next year. 2012 is just the year I'll be working Christmas and I couldn't care less to be honest!

    I'm working till 7pm Christmas Eve then back lunchtime Thursday.

    As I'm only a student & haven't got a job, I shall be off from Friday 21st Dec - Monday 7th. But I have plenty of work to do...

    Just a fortnight. :( Would rather have less half terms and have a longer Christmas holiday. :(

    I'm off a grand total off Christmas Day :) infact in December I get 4 days off in total.

    I know how you feel elasticlove. I always wanted 3 weeks at Xmas.

    Now Im working, I just like anytime off. I only get 21 days off a year :( But I do get 12 flex days a year as well which isnt bad I guess.

    I hope there isn't an audit trail, because if there is then you best start looking for a new job. A colleague of mine was sacked recently for pulling just that stunt, no warnings, sacked as it was classed as a breach of trust and gross misconduct. Unfortunately for them, all our annual leave is done self service on computer. Computers don't lie.

    I have to work Xmas Day and either Xmas Eve or Boxing Day. Will reluctantly do the 07:45-14:00 shift but refuse to do another 14:00-20:15 shift on Xmas Day. I felt very sorry for myself the year I did that one. :o

    I may wish for a little explosive bodily functions myself.

    Finish at 6pm on Christmas eve, back at 7am on the 27th.

    Although I do have 13-20th December off. :D:o

    I finish at 6PM on Christmas Eve, and I think I'm back in at 2PM on Boxing Day. :(
