Panasonic TV i player

Can anybody help?
I have a Panasonic TX-L37V10B with Viera cast. I am trying to connect to BBC i player. I can connect to and use Viera cast OK. I have done a software upgrade it is version 2.306. When i keep pressing the red button on BBC1, after about 2 mins the red button screen appears but no where to connect to i player. If i press CH901 I player logo comes up, then no connection. I can connect my Wii thro the router no problem.
