And another thread on Islam was closed. Quite bewildering. Truly.

I hope it's because most were so thoroughly sick of those "innocuous questions with a hidden aim to prove Muslims as the modern face of evil" threads last year that there's an attempt to keep it minimal this year.

Fed up with all these threads on Islam. You always end up with people showing up to try their best to vilify the religion and its followers. Glad they were closed!

Actually it was all quite tongue in cheek as far as I saw, nothing overtly offensive, it makes me feel rather uncomfortable for mods to be deleting things unless there's a seriously good reason.

It's the rule of the internet in the UK. Slag off Islam = deleted and bannages.
Slag off Christianity = 1000's of pages.

There wasn't anything in the hijab thread that warranted a delete.

There seemed to be a few threads recently like that, starting off with a question and the person who asked the question rejects all the answers people come up with before finally answering his own question! :D

Maybe there should be a "These Blaaady Muslims!!" subforum.

I wish there was a separate Religion forum entirely.

I've noticed this also, I don't know why spend so much time and energy thinking about Islam

Common now, it wasn't just a thread about hijabs.

It was a thread about hijabis dressing like sketz.

    Hi,

We remove or close threads when they have reached their constructive end or seem to have been posted in order to wind other users up.

If you have any questions about moderation decisions, these should be made via our contact form and not through a thread on the forums.
