BN biscuits are back!

I noticed in Tesco the French BN Biscuits are finally back after being apparently banned back in 2003 over here.

They have the BN Minis in chocolate and strawberry varieties.
And the normal BN's also in vanilla.

    There's a couple of theories, one being the interesting although strange urban legend claiming they were banned because one batch of biscuits contained cocaine. (Ha, don't you just love stupid urban legends?) A more likely theory is that they probably just didn't sell enough. This seems odd considering how popular they were though.

    In July 2013, BN returned to UK supermarkets with new packaging and logos

    I tried the strawberry ones, they are nothing like they used to be :( I liked the square shape but these were round and just didn't taste the same!

    They're being made by McVities now. I saw an advert the other night in which furry animals came out of the BN packet. The music was still the same but it didn't say 'BN, BN'.

    I find those adverts really off putting. I don't think furry animals should appear from food packets and it's stopped me buying McVities products.

    I'm so glad they are back, I've not had them since I was maybe about 6-7 years old :D
