Read this yesterday, terrific news. Means it will be Xmas here and in Ramsay Street in December (as opposed to mid Jan / Feb when we are over xmas and need a break from it, and all their xmas trees appear lol)
Why can't they do the same thing with Home And Away as well?
I was thinking the same. It would be great if they did as I am not too fussed about Neighbours, (its Coronation Street without the ugly people or rundown houses.)
With Home and Away it would solve the problem for CH5 having to stop episodes half way through the year for a month or so. They could end the soap on a cliffhanger in December when 7 does in OZ. Lets hope this happens soon. ;-)
Agreed. Absolutely no reason in this day and age for there to be a gap.
Maybe they'll see if theres any increase in viewers with Neighbours. The HAA gap is a C5 enforced gap with the various breaks they've had. It would have caught up by now otherwise.
