Well. I've only just recovered from the mother of all New Years hangovers. Went back to Leeds to see in 2013 with my old uni friends only to decide to start drinking at 4pm (what a great idea), completely miss the countdown because I was so hammered and ended up being told it was 2013 by a barman, spent 30 minutes vomiting in the back of the beer garden, tried to phone a taxi but the network was down so had to spend 90 minutes walking back home through a particularly rough part of Leeds where I endlessly muttered to myself "I'm so much better than this, I'm so much better than this", possibly got hit in the face by someone though I might have walked into their hand, got racially abused by fellow white people who thought I was Asian, then got in to the house after my friends who had left the bar an hour after I had, and then vomited a bit more.
