These are wonderful Emma, thank you. Love the rickshaw ones, especially the last one. And the handstand I most definitely have not seen before. How on earth have I missed it! A truly lovely view:)

I haven't got round to rewatching this show yet, but do you want me to check and see if I've got the last 10 minutes for you kk? Just for your collection. Let me know if you do.
Thanks for the offer Rita but I don't think anything anything special happened in that last 10 minutes so I'll be OK without it
Nice TT tonight. Didn't Matt look gorgeous. Lovely and lively too. Think he and Felicity must have got on well on SCD because she seemed very pleased to see him - and vice versa. Liked his hair tonight which surprises me. However, I think it's probably because everything else was okay. Put it with a dodgy shirt and it surely wouldn't look so good. Very boyish anyway.
I always like to watch the very end of TT to see how the guests and hosts interract. Sometimes you can see the guest getting ready to leave - even getting up sometimes. Sometimes Matt is looking down at his notes. I look out for those occasions when they look as though they're going to carry on talking. Tonight was one of those:)
FBB’s lovely curly is about to come back, looking gorgeous and adorable tonight. Wonderful, hope I can see Matt in this new haircut on Countryfile.
Seems everyone’s enjoying Matt’s handstand tummy flashing pic. :D;) I couldn’t remember the URL but thankfully I downloaded it so I can share with everyone.
Rita, I too love the riskshaw photos esp the last pic cos it’s close-up.
Cass no worries, FBB’s pics are for everyone to enjoy.:)
Does anyone know where Matt will be filming CF tomorrow?
Countryfile on the 8th of April is from the Brecon and Monmouth canal. Matt is travelling with some local beer down the old route by canal boat. This involves him rolling beer barrels, drinking the produce, and legging a barge through a tunnel. General thud warnings apply to this picspam which is so extensive it's been split into two
The last thud worthy tos of the week, Felicity was ok, she's looking very smoothed skin, not a face wrinkle in sight
Matt looked utterly gorgeous, fabulous grey long sleeved polo shirt, nice and snug, showing of his shoulder and arms to perfection:D lovely ruffled hair and stubble. lovely
His off bodding to cf no doubt, fingers crossed it a nice day where ever he off to
I should point out that for the past 6 months I have walked by a canal 5 days a week. Not once has anybody looking like that sprawled all over one of the canal boats. I feel that this is very unfair

Will save these for tomorrow kk, we've been spoilt today:D
But just what would you do if you came acroos a sight like that walking to work?
On to The One Show from 5th April with guest Guy Pearce. Apologies for the shortness of this picspam but for some reason the episode I got off iPlayer was missing the last 10 minutes of the show!
Matt is wearing an indigo denim shirt and grey trousers

Morning all. Thought I'd post this here for anyone not on twitter. Matt mentioned at the Young Farmer's AGM that he was involved in the Olympic Torch relay back home in Durham. People were a bit confused as he wasn't listed on the relay website but we now have confirmation:
The torch arrives in Durham on Saturday 16th June and stops overnight before starting again in the morning. Matt will be carrying the torch for its last leg on the 16th - lighting the cauldron at it's overnight stop which starts an evening of celebration. It's then going to be carried on the next morning by the former England cricketer and Durham native - Paul Collingwood. Should be a good event for anyone who can get there

One of my favourite episodes of Countryfile and the main reason was I’d like to see Matt in actions sometimes that he needs, IMO, for his physical fitness and keeping up his stamina at a certain level. I love action Matt. Ellie and Adams segments were rather interesting. The piglets and a little lamb gone hiding the camera under the neck of mummy lamb were so cute. Anyway the cutest of all was Matt Baker, wasn’t it?
His shirt was perfectly fitted on him, the colour of shirt and jeans nicely matched; he has toned up himself so he looked really fabulous. I wish he has some fitted shirts like this one for summer CF filmings - check, stripe, plain, any of them would do.
Many thanks for the giant picspam KK and I managed to view and analyse them thoroughly thanks to my AL. It is hard to single out so I ended up with massive selection  that I have to put them into categories:

I saw the canal boats up and down the River Soar through the window of my room when I lived in a student accommodation in Leicester. I lived there for the whole academic year and walked down there with friends but I didn’t see any single barge being lagged even though there are bridges to go through. Shame the bridges are not narrow and lower enough and no manpower is needed to leg through the tunnels. There won’t be thud-worthy scenes that drew my attention anyway.:p

Thanks for the info & link KK. I watched the NFYFC president blog video clip via the link Rita posted. Loved the way he let his his mum know that he is the Olympics touch bearer in Durham, a bit funny and cheeky, his giggling was very much of Matt Baker. I am so happy that he got this once-in-a-generation (the unforgettable) opportunity that not every can be wished for. I think he was voted / proposed by the people in Durham cos what I understood was that the Olympics torch carriers have to be the true inspiration to the nation that many can look up to.
Also great to know that he will be the one who is going light a cauldron on the Racecourse for the overnight stop. Performances lined up for that evening seems v exciting as well. I wish I’d be there to witness this moment but I can’t go, hope the BBC would cover the relay from the beginning to the end of the leg, I’d be delighted even they cover it on the BBC News channel.:)

Afternoon all
Wish I could be ther as well particulalrly as I will be in Durham the following Sunday on holiday. If it was the 17th could perhaps have swung it on the way to Northumberland but am at bday in Yorkshire on the 16th.
Hope our Northern ladies will keep us up to date with events as they unfold. He really deserves this honour on several points 1) for being an ex athlete and Olympic commentator 2) for being local 3) for being an very grounded and inspiring individual.
At least they will all be well fed and am glad to see the British Food/Agriculture/Olympics connection. Wonderful idea to showcase all things belonging the British Isles
Many thanks for piccies. Yes Emma a few more well fitting garments would be very welcome;);)
Yes Skye the hanstand one is rather nice;)
Hope weather stays sunny , yes it has got its hat on today, as off to the New Forest tomorrow

It is very typical isn't it?
Well said, Lotus re-Matt's being one the Olympics torchbearers. Does anyone like to add Lotus's points?:)
It sounds the New Forest is like your playground near your area.
Countryfile is in Dumfries and Galloway, the perfect place to launch this year's photographic competition, with its theme 'Walk On The Wild Side'. Matt Baker looks into the cultural side of the county as he explores the locations used in some iconic feature films, and he also visits one of the countries best up-and-coming arts events.
Ellie Harrison and John Craven are looking at some of the area's best loved wildlife. For Ellie it is the calling sounds of the natterjack toads, as well as red squirrels, which are keeping her busy; and for John it is bird life, and black guillemots in particular, which is of interest.
To explain more about the photographic competition, Chris Packham takes a walk on the wild side with Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson as they search for inspiration for the contest. Tom Heap is in Somerset, investigating why young people are queuing up to get into farming. But sadly, many of them will struggle to ever run a farm of their own.
Adam has his home county of Gloucestershire on his mind as he explores the breeds of cattle and pigs which make it famous. He also sniffs out some very stinky local cheese.
Heehee…. both Jeremy C and Richard H appeared in wildlife and nature programs quite recently, seems they have found new careers. Only joking!:p
Still we don’t know where Matt is filming CF today, do we?:(
Oh at last! Finally got back on here after trying to change password. Why does everything have to be so difficult!
Could be that I'm just such a numpty!
Anyway, am very much behindhand with everything....so just dropping by to say Hellaw as need to catch up with the posts!
Hope all DS ladies fit and well? We've got a little MB famine from today but nothing that us hardy ladies can't cope with.

Matt and four school girls from Stroud High’s news report team who did their bits of the BBC News School Report Day 2010. Matt was in his wetsuit as they interviewed him at the banks of the Severn while he was filming his segment of CF episode surfing the bore. You probably have seen that segment on CF or even this pic but this one is larger, you can clearly see his dimpled chin in the sun and lovely curly hair that I am missing. According to their news article, they described him as very professional, very friendly, an inspiration to the team as he helped out their journalist skills and public speaking skills.

No perhaps dont answer that:D
CCM all
Great pics kk, a very nice shirt with wow's and unbuttonage
nice trews, hair looks great and nice amount of stubble

The day did start with bright sunshine but the clouds have won, back to grey cloudy skies.

Many shots that caught on my eyes

We’ll see whether Matt can find some red deer as he found some in Scotland - Broken Spectre segement in 2010.

Brief info from CF website:
Heehee…. both Jeremy C and Richard H appeared in wildlife and nature programs quite recently, seems they have found new careers. Only joking!:p
Still we don’t know where Matt is filming CF today, do we?:(
Could be that I'm just such a numpty!
Anyway, am very much behindhand with everything....so just dropping by to say Hellaw as need to catch up with the posts!
Hope all DS ladies fit and well? We've got a little MB famine from today but nothing that us hardy ladies can't cope with.
