This drummer of a three person band who is one of the top bands of all-time has more money than he could ever spend. Did he spend it on his nephew when his nephew was dying of leukemia? Nope. Not one penny. He wanted nothing to do with it or death and told his sister that he was not going to help her or his nephew.
The nephew died. Think about that when he is out promoting a new record.

I can only think of one three-person band that might be described as 'one of the top bands of all time'. They spent some time Walking On The Moon. But is the drummer still in the music business?

I can think of another, and the drummer has a reputation as one of the nicest people in music, so I really hope it isn't him, (well, I hope it isn't anyone really), but nevermind.

One who's daughter is doing quite well as an actress? I googled him and got "He has a brother: Clive and a sister: Carole"
I typed "there goes my hero" into Google it gave me a band with whom you share part of your user name and I went on from there to find his previous band.
I think that refers to his band before current ( the one referred to in the blind as one of the top bands of all time)
Not saying it is him as he doesn't seem the sort
Oh, right! Thanks, I didn't think to go back that far:).
My initial fear upon reading the blind was that it was a fellow countryman, but his band has more than three members. I want to think better of him than that!
I do think the line "He wants nothing to do with it or death" is interesting. Does it mean he couldn't deal with the illness and the approaching death? If so it gives a new spin on what i thought.

I have no idea who this could be,
True. You do hear those those stories. Though i don't think the nephew should pay for the sins of the sister.

Nope, Fred E Star's clue was far better then mine.
Ah right!!! I suppose my first thought still fits though.
But is that a band with only three members?

Ha, I completely missed this clue and automatically read it as "there goes my theory"
I hope it's not him, he seems like an extremely nice guy.
Totally dumb, just don't get it. Another clue ?
