    I watched my partner achieve one of his life's ambitions tonight, well over the past few days. Saturday was the final day of the pantomime he was playing the Dame in. We had a matinee performance in the afternoon, then the final performance early this evening. Once the fun was over around 30 of us spent 2 hours pulling apart the set and staging before hitting the pub for a well earned drink or two. It was my first experience of being involved backstage at a panto, it was nice to be a part of a small group of like minded people that wanted to give something to their community as well as have some fun.

    Spent a large part of the evening online in a spiritual chat room talking to some of my virtual friends. We discuss serious stuff but also have a laugh. Always a good experience.

    (Guess if I didn't live in a materialistic, consumer society there would be no need to do this).

    Have been testing a JJ Tesla ECC83S valve in the pre-amp of my guitar amp. Had a Harma ECC83 in it yesterday, will be trying an Electro Harmonix 12AX7 tomorrow.
