On a sadder note, RVN has hung up his boots today. Thanks for all the good stuff RVN. Your presence has graced the pitch of the only home of Spanish Football.
Awful start so far. Madrid needed an advanced playmaker tonight, someone like Modric (or Kaka?). The front 4 in the final 25 mins or so all positioned themselves on the shoulders of defenders, and no one seemed to want to come and get the ball. Ozil has been way below his best, holding onto the ball for too long and lacking composure in the box.
Ronaldo just doesn't look on it at the moment. Benzema has been wasteful. I think a new centre back is needed too. Albiol is too unreliable.
Got to trust that Mourinho will turn it around though!
Initially I thought he was upset about the treatment of his friend, Kaka, but now it's transpired that he will be subject to the 52% tax rate when he renews his contract, so I'm not sure.
Could also be that he doesn't feel loved by the club. Casillas is apparently seen as the main man at the club and was backed more than Ronaldo for the Best Player in Europe award. I also remember the fans turning on him after 3 or 4 bad games.
His fiancee wants him to move to Paris to PSG and his agent wants more money. Ronaldo is the one looking bad in public.
Why can't players tell there agents to stay out of it more if they are happy with there package at a club? it's not worth damaging your image over a few million euros losing a year is it?
Like most RM players, past and present, he wasn't happy with the sale of Granero and the loss of some good young cantera players, hece his "professional sadness" which everyone is assuming = wanting to leave.
Not to mention the fact that last week was the anniversary of his dad's death, which would also have had an effect on his mood and how he was feeling last week.

If there's one thing Perez knows how to do it's throw a proper party!

The master of his art.
Agreed , seems a real nice guy as well .
Isn't he the son or nephew of our Nadal ??
Yup, nephew I think.
He's his nephew ... but still a Madridista :P
Though now he is a shareholder in Mallorca he supports them a little bit too

We had one... did it get deleted?
