Lots of movies that are never shown on tv. I wonder why. Not even on dvd some of them.

A couple to mention.

Cohen & Tate ..1988 roy schieder

Soldier Blue - 1971 peter strauss

Not sure if these movies are ever shown on sky . Must be lots of movies in the archives which don't get a dvd release or tv showing. TV seems to churn out the same movies over and over/ (i know soldier blue is on dvd)

Not Seen the old Crack In The World on TV since the 90s however it is now on DVD and Blu Ray if in ported and looks very decent to for such a budget film.

I remeber watching Twenty One with Kevin Spacey, on a flight a few years back. I've never seen it on TV - even on sky?

I've had a couple of people say how good 'Miracle Mile' is but I have yet to see it appear on TV or Sky.

I don't think that it's available on DVD in UK either.

I may have to buy it from iTunes one day.

Watch the Horror Channel! They have plenty of Hammer films.

Psycho 2, seeing it on ITV the other night reminded me of how long since its been shown. There are so many I could list them all night but won't. It's just a pity that huge chunks of cinema have been discarded in favour of endless repeated screenings of The Day After Roland Emmerichs Independence Day with a side order of Michael Bay Dying Hard while in a Night at the Museum.

Ferry Cross the Mersey and Catch Us If You Can (both 1965)

Haven't seen either of them for years, and as Jimmy Savile appears in Ferry Cross the Mersey, I guess the chances of this one being shown again on TV aren't great at the moment.

Can't say about TV showings, but both your examples are available on DVD.

Most of these are available on DVD, but have not been shown on TV (well Freeview) for a least 10 years (and probably more).

    Les Diaboliques
    Network
    Buckaroo Banzai
    Wages Of Fear
    Rififi
    Harold And Maude

All are "classics" that I would like to see, but not sure if they're worth paying for,
Hmm, I might look on eBay.

City Heat with Clint Eastwood and Burt Reynolds.Regarded by many as one of the worst films either of them did,but I like it for what it is and I've just recenty got it from Amazon.

Also I'd like to see the spaghetti western spoof They Call Me Trinity and Drunken Master 2 both of which seem impossible to get.

I remember a few hit records in the 70s. Fire down below by Tina Charles was a theme to a movie, probably a rubbishy british stud/bitch type film which has never seen the light of day since.
Also Gladys Knight had a minor hit with the theme to a movie called The One and Only. Never seen that.
Maybe some are too bad to show on telly.

There's a Canadian comedy from 1997 called 'The Wrong Guy'.I saw it about 10 or 11 years ago on BBC2.The film has never been released over here in dvd. It's only available on region 1.

2 other films that spring to mind that i haven't seen on tv for sometime is the Dana Carvey comedy 'Clean Slate' & the Nicolas Cage film 'Trapped in Paradise'.However both are available on dvd.

I remeber watching Twenty One with Kevin Spacey, on a flight a few years back. I've never seen it on TV - even on sky?

21 was shown last year on channel 5

    And on FilmFour last week.

And went through a three month period of being shown at least twice a week on Sky Movies when it first appeared on Sky Movies Premier.
