  Not used with Sky, but I get a pretty good picture via component from my Topfield TF5800, and even better via the DVD player (Samsung HD950) over HDMI to the DVI port, which I usually run at 720p.

  I've had one for approx., 3 months, it is connected to Sky & also have a good quality scart, superb picture.

  Hi Stephen93,
  Thank you for your reply.Which scart lead are you using,also how is the picture on ITV,on both FREEVIEW and SKY.
  Further it states you can record to the HDD from EXTERNAL SOURCES,can you record from SKY?????
