    Today in town, the British Heart Foundation store had a stand full of Christmas cards, and the Card Factory had product bins out the front with Christmas designs on them (selling Christmas gift bags).

    ... it's August ffs.

    I have started the Christmas shopping and the Christmas lights on the house will go up in September but won't be switched on till December

    I too started my shopping today! Nothing much just some socks for my niece and nephew. A friend posted a picture on Facebook yesterday of xmas cards and wrapping in a shop, must have been Clintons

    Christmas has taken a step forward in the past week. Christmas tubs of sweets are now back in stock at ASDA as-well as limited edition Cranberry Sauce. Christmas cards and 2017 calendars are now in stock at a local card shop.

    Seen wrapping paper and cards in Clintons and Debenhams a week or so back. Also noticed more places advertising Christmas parties/meals.

    Just got back from working in the midlands, the Beefeater next to the hotel where I stayed has its Christmas tree up. Fairly lights, the lot!

    Toby Carvery is usually bad for doing that as well.

    My local Co-Op has a Christmas stand with mince pies on it.

    I went to buy a couple of birthday cards yesterday and the card shop had been swallowed up by Christmas Cards. Almost half the small shop was Christmas cards which meant I struggled to find a decent birthday card.

    The billboard adverts have been up for a while.

    I spotted this advert (not this *exact* one, mind) at Audley End railway station when I went through it on the way to Stansted Airport. On July 23rd.
