I'd be interested to know if you're someone who sarcastically throws slave ownership at the feet of current Americans, or if you only have the "it was years ago" exemption for Brits.

That's right it was Africans selling other Africans in to slavery because they belonged to a different sect / tribe. Why don't the bleeding hearts every mention the white British people who lived in coastal towns around the country who were stolen in nighttime raids and sold as slaves?
It's funny that we hear much gnashing of teeth and wailing that the British Empire was bad but nobody ever seems to mention those jolly nasty Spanish and their conquest of the Americas, or France, Portugal and I believe Germany and Japan may have been a little naughty too.
But the left wing are only ever interested in white British people being racist that they over look everybody elses past.

I think you'll find that the British entered an existing slave trade, you'll also find they later helped put an end to it.

I haven't said, In fact I favor further integration but I feel the UK struggles to accept foreign influence and will always struggle which is a real shame.

Whilst it is wrong to say that all Brexit voters are intolerant, racist bigots, it is more true to say that all intolerant, racist bigots are Brexit voters.

The full on racist that lives in my street is voting to stay in, because he would rather have the country flooded with more Europeans (mainly his race) than Africans and Asians (mainly different races).
The majority of anglophobes from our various nationalists parties (SNP/ Plaid/ Sinn Fein etc etc) will be voting to stay in.
There will be many bigoted people who are extremely intolerant of anyone who holds differing views that will be voting to stay in. (I'm sure you know some of these people yourself).
So while there will undoubtably be intolerant racists and bigots voting to leave, the same can be said of those voting to stay.
I suppose it's to be expected really, when there're only two choices which millions of individuals have to make.
