Hi my nokia n8 is great apart from one problem ive registered with nokia and ovi but everytime it says no connection try later,ive tried downloading apps from computer it says might take up till one hour but nothing appears on phone even when it says it has HELP,jioscar

    Sounds like more of an issue with your operator rather than the phone.

    A few things - you've got an Ovi account configured, and you can browse the internet on the phone via 3G and/or wifi?

    Yes it could be the operator? who are you with?

    But it could also be the connection manager. Ive noticed that if the settings are incorrect then some online apps will always try to connect via wifi only and some will only connect via 3G and then fail.

    Quick way to check try to open ovi and other online apps over wifi and then over 3G only and see what happens?

    Oh yeah and in under the main settings see if you are under 3G or dual mode?

    Hi again this may sound daft but what does it mean and what do i do when it says search for wlan and i do it says enter wep what do i have to do :o
