Back to my start of the year countdown as that's the May bank holidays all but done.
In less than a month we will have passed the longest day of the year and the nights will start to be getting darker!! We will also have passed that point of the year where we are nearer Christmas day 2015 than we were Christmas Day 2014. It's all downhill from there.
Mine (along with all the other decorations) goes up about 18th November. So only 5.633 months, or 24.143 weeks, or 169 days, or 121 business days to go!!

Lee Mack was on Breakfast this morning saying that the Not Going Out Christmas Special will be "film-like" like the Only Fools and Horses specials were and won't be filmed in front of a live audience.

The second annual quiz where each week there will be 10 questions to answer based on Christmas Radio Times from the past! I hope as many of you as possible join in and the prize this year is a vintage edition of Radio Times from November 1988!
Here in the Netherlands, we just had our very last public holiday before Christmas. Last Monday (May 25) was Whit Monday which is a holiday in most parts of Europe. But while the Brits still have the August Bank Holiday to look forward to, the Dutch will have to wait until Dec 25 for their next day off. Only 200-odd days to go....
