Top Up TV Changelog

Set up as a way for users to be able to report changes on the DTT platform that are related to Top Up TV, and that can't be 'seen' by ordinary Freeview users. Recent changes on channel 34 (Setanta) have highlighted the need to have a log to report such changes. Also Freeview/Freesat/Virgin forums on Digital Spy have changelogs, so why not TopUpTV?

The changelog can function in the same way as the Freeview Changelog.

Details of a change should ideally be backed up with a source, such as an official announcement on a website, followed by a link to a thread on this forum to discuss the matter further.

ESPN is appearing on all Freeview boxes on ch. 34 so not TUTV exclusive.:)

It may appear on the channel line up but it can't be seen by Freeview-only viewers unless the encryption is lifted. As such any one on Freeview only would not be able to notice any changes.

LCN 34 has been renamed ESPN in place of SETANTA SPORTS.

Ch.34 no longer seems to be showing ESPN, it has now gone back to showing the Setanta Sports "No Longer Broadcasting" caption.

Discovery and Discovery Real Time Channels have been removed from the service. To be replaced by extra programmes from The National Geographic Channel.

Top Up TV will no longer broadcast on channels 38-41 on DTT from September 30th.

Freeview has announced that Quest will be on 38, SuperCasino on 39, Rocks & Co on 40. See the Freeview Changelog and at http://www.freeview.co.uk/freeview/Channels

Change: As part of the Nationwide Retune Day on Wednesday 30th September affecting all digital terrestrial television providers, Top Up TV's Anytime Channels will move from 38-41 up to 307-310.

Mon-Fri 2pm to 4am
Sat 12pm to 6am
Sun 12pm to 4am

And so presumably has TOPUP Anytime1's hours which timeshare with ESPN.

Despite there being little on ESPN at that time there may be in the future plus it's handy for catching up. I'm surprised G.O.L.D and Home still have live streams. Perhaps given the length of time they have stayed means they will return to a live service in the future?
