I wish her solo career had stuck to "What You Waiting For" or "Cool" rather than going more "urban." So I prefer her as part of No Doubt.
Agreed. I like some of her solo work, but the part of it that sounds more like No Doubt not the urban/R&B/hip hop side. I really like her solo song Early Winter but it sounds like it could be a No Doubt song.
I really liked Gwen's first solo album but hated the imagery of her at the time, particularly those four muted Japanese slave girls she had trailing after her everywhere
No Doubt have an amazing back catalogue, but I much prefer Gwen Stefani solo. Especially considering how mediocre the group's latest album is. But she's said she didn't feel comfortable releasing music on her own, so let's just hope No Doubt as a band can go back to the quality of their 90's music.
