And so you should. Go and sit in the corner and think about what a bad person you are.

Your TV is barely bigger than the upcoming generation of mobile phones :p

    Now I feel even sadder.......:(

Now I feel better. And superior :D

£8,000 on a TV? I know it's your money, but are you mad?

It was a little less than that if I remember correctly.

Like I said, she's my baby - I always have her on. She's worth it.

Here at home my wife has to do with a modest 34" (I think) LG flatscreen, although in the bedroom we've got another one which rarely gets used which is the same. At the second home where I live when I'm working I've got a 55-ish" Samsung, but my housemate tends to have more or less exclusive use of that because I'm generally sat in front of my computer screens most of the time.

    42"

There is a ratio of taste and Chav when it comes to TV size IMO.

Massive TVs taking up the living room (normally set too bright and on umpa-lumpa mode) is pure Chav. Those sizes are for dedicated home cinema rooms.

Also one does wonder how some afford these massive screens and sky whilst there supposed to be unemployed or "struggling"

Our TV died last year, it was very old and the power button fell out, it was a 20 inch so we upgraded to a cheapo Sainsbury's 32INCH LCD with dvd player......

It's more than likely they're getting more in benefits than some people earn from working and the TVs are on finance from shit stores like Brighthouse.

19" Hitachi, decent enough picture, tinny sound. My main tv died last year. It was an old 'un and as deep as wide Thought I'd have bought a replacement by now as a priority. Don't get me wrong if I'd got plenty of cash, I would have. But I haven't, and I'm genuinely surprised how little I'm bothered. Big TVs still look great in other people's houses!

We are still on a 24" Panasonic Quintrix Widescreen CRT (actual screen diagonal 22").

Small living room. No need to change till it goes bang.

Lots of old CRTs come up on my local Freecycle. Useful if you are skint/eco-conscious.

I have no idea. It was a gift. And I never look a gift horse in the mouth, or even measure the size.

I can see the facial expressions and that does me fine.

    But I have to say

    ........SHOCKFECKINHORROR

.....it's not even flat screen...It has a Cabinet Stand With Glass Doors.

Is TV status a new way of compensating for inadequate penile function? Now that petrol is so expensive and men can't afford cars.

Living room TV is 36 inch I think. In my bedroom I have my trusty old portable TV/VHS combo. I love it more than life itself.

    38" Samsung.

Good telly, big enough but not overwhelming in my living room.

    I only own the one.

    32" Sony Bravia.

Not the biggest of screens these days, but it's more than adequate for me.
