They are just the best. I love them when we are camping - you get some apocalyptic ones in France.

I can see lightning over to the South West. Seems the area of heavy rain has turned thundery on its Southern flank.

We had the worst at about 7.45 pm - went very dark, chucked with rain and lightening and thunder about two seconds apart and the Sky signal went. Looks like it's heading up towards London.

It's nice and fresh here now.

some real bright lightning near me in Dover, seems to be heading here... I thought it was hot and sticky this evening... Good thing for the storm and it looks big on the chart

some very spectacular cloud to ground lightning right now and it's just the beginning...

Was looking out the front window and every single street lamp flickered for a second or two and a couple went out :O

Over Croydon way we had thunder and lightening, lost the Satellite signal and it's just ended, it kicked off about 9:17.

Heavy rain, thunder and lightning here in Bognor Regis, Sussex, quite spectacular. My son is camping in Devon, not much fun for him I guess although he likes storms.

There is some mild thunder and lightning in the south east. I'm not sure if it's raining - the house has been locked up for the night so I can't go and look.

I love a good storm though!
