Still view recorded movies after down grading?

I'm getting shot of Sky Movies next month. I have a couple of movies I've recorded that are sat in "My Shows" waiting to be viewed. Will I be able to view those movies AFTER I've downgraded or will they be barred or gone?
I did similar once with Sky and lost access to recorded movies after the down grade so I'm wondering if it'll be the same on Virgin.

You will not be able to view the recordings after downgrade.

Do you really think that Sky would allow this if they don't let their own customers do it?

They did, for quite a while. They only enforced it on VM relatively recently.

It's been (at least) a year or more! Hardly that recently!

Well VM has been around for 7 and both NTL and Telewest had Sky Movies before that. So yes, "relatively recently" is accurate I think :)

(And I thought it was more than a year ;))
