I have no idea why but she makes me uncomfortable. Maybe it's her Pollyanna persona, or the fact that she seems to find bratty kids like Sophia Grace & Rosie and Bars and Melody awesome, I don't know, but I have tried sitting through her on various programmes including her own show and just can't do it.
She seems universally adored but is there anyone else who is not a fan?

Whenever I watch an Ellen video on youtube, I end up spending hours watching more of them, I think she is brilliant.
I really don't know why she is so incredibly off-putting to me.
About to say this
She is so popular in america
Is her shows that good?
IMO, no, not at all. It seems she's only got to break wind, however, for her studio audience to whoop and laugh hysterically.
Sure, her show is a bit OTT at times in terms of audience hysteria, but that's pretty de rigeur in the States.
To me she seems like a genuinely 'good egg'.
Sounds like loose women
She seems to genuinely care about people. It's a shame that being a bit OTT is creepy these days.
I know not every person is everyone's cup of tea, but I agree. I don't see how she's creepy.
I don't know where you're getting "creepy" from.
I wouldn't expect anything less. People love to create negative rumours about celebrities. That's why blind items are so popular.
I suspect the reason
I don't like her or dislike her, she's just someone who comes across to me as entirely unimpressive. Her happy-clappy personality seems very forced to me.
.
Are you one and the same eh? Same start date? Same quote?
She's fighting the fight, in her own way, and I admire that in such a homophobic industry.
agree with this
I agree - making a habit of this
I loved her sitcom as well right up until she came out on the show and then I think it became a bit of a one joke series after that which was a real shame.
I do think it's great that an openly gay, middle aged women who isn't all tits, arse and jazz hands has succeeded in such an image and age concious and homophobic industry.
