A (literally!) warm welcome to all BB fans and lurkers!:)

Tonight's treats begin at 10pm with Big Brother:

The housemates begin their first shopping task, which involves filling a giant shopping basket with oversized groceries and keeping it balanced on a tall pole in the garden. But unknown to them, Michael is out to sabotage the challenge. There's also a live link-up with the house to see the three nominees given the chance to plead with the People's Puppet to save them from Friday's eviction. In fact, all he'll be doing is announcing the one with the fewest public votes.

Followed at 11pm by Big Brothers Bit On The Side:

Emma Willis presents the BB companion show, joined by Neil `Razor' Ruddock, Alison Hammond and Will Best to debate on tonight's live action. Did the viewers pick the right two nominees for Friday's eviction race? Also, body-language expert Judi James puts her finger on the housemates' movements.

It will be a muggy night, so strip down to your G-string, grab a chilled glass of your favourite tincture, and enjoy the shows. Tonight has an extra frisson with the live eviction elimination!

In the meantime, for those of you who cant get enough of it....

Who on earth is Will Best?

I was looking forward to Emma presenting BOTS, but the guest are awful. Last night, the irritating Rusty, the nastiness-loving and irritating Patrick (or whatever his name is), and the spinner who claims to see auras. :(

Tonight, Razor, Alison, and whoever Will Best will turn out to be. :( And Judi James. :( (At least she's not as bad as Dr Pam.)

    Thanks for the thread :)

I love joining in on the thread when the show's on, but I end up missing a lot of it, cos I'm on here! So, I may have to omit posting during the show and just have a read of the thread during the ads.....

As far as BOTS is concerned, it doesn't matter to me who's presenting, it's who the guests are and what silly stunts are pulled during the show which are determining if I watch it or not. I ended up switching off last night as it was crap. I can't stand that idiot Patrick, and the aura woman was a load of old twaddle. :(

The only editions of BOTS really worth watching are the post-eviction ones

That's true. Even the 'exclusive' clips BOTS show aren't really worth waiting around for, and they tend to get shown as part of the HLs anyway, so I think I'll stick to watching it on eviction nights only.

Is anyone else really surprised how much they are enjoying the series? I love it. Feels very back to basics in terms of the housemates. I love the mix at the moment.

I have decided that Esther Rantzens Spitting Image puppet is a better Rylan lookalike than Janet Street Porters puppet....
