Do you think people are more angry these days!

In general people appear to be much more confrontational and less bothered about how angry they come across to others. Why do you think we're so nasty with each other?

I feel far more angry these days, why just yesterday I was obliged to sigh and roll my eyes at a colleague!

    LOL! Awh no worries then.

In response to the proper title - I don't know whether people are angrier nowadays or just - less happy?

It's always had its angry contingent, there are just more members now so you see a bit more of it. I think as the internet goes, DS is on the whole, pretty civilized.

I was thinking more of Youtube and other such places. Some of the stuff you read on those sites beggars belief.

We've faced centuries of wars with our neighbours & people having their heads lopped off for saying things in anger and now all of a sudden we're angrier?

I wouldn't go by what you see on youtube, that site's always been a breeding ground for morons and the dregs of society. Bit like radio phone-ins.

The comment sections on YouTube are used by the most hideous, racist, vulgar scum to slither around on the planet. Mostly.

I have less patience these days. Not sure if it's age slowly turning me into a "grumpy old woman" (although not actually old yet, just grumpy!) or less free time, more stress, more general worries - family, money, health, the usual etc.

I suppose less patience leads to greater frustration and eventually outbursts of anger. I usually end up swearing and sometimes shouting at inanimate objects around the house that dare to defy me. :o

I blame a lot of it on not enough straight sleeps in most cases.

This is true but I'm referring to people being nastier with each other without violence as such.
