What utter drivel. And to think some lily-livered FMs were actually crying after watching that bilge. Dear god, shoot me now.

I thought it was a lovely advert, very sweet
The end is beautiful and the hare reminded me of Watership Down, when he runs off to search for the bear :o:(
    Lovely animation.

Why didn't the bear rip the hare's throat out? Opportunistic meals in nature can be life savers.

Surprised no one has mentioned that the bear is rather similar to Koda from Disney's Brother Bear and the rabbit looks like its out of Waterhship Down/Animals of Fathing Wood.

Aaron Blaise directed both this and Brother Bear.

I thought the rabbit reminded me of Watership Down too.
Maybe the clock is to remind the bear when its Christmas/Easter or whatever then he can go and celebrate with friends :)

I don't get it. What is there to cry about?

I was more distracted at Lily Allen's piss poor vocal than anything else. Talk about nepotism...

I have to admit, I did tear up a bit. It's very rare for me but when I do cry it's usually for nice/happy things than sad.

The clock is an alarm clock to wake the bear up so it can celebrate Christmas for the first time instead of sleeping through it.

I have no idea why they use covers when Keane's original is so much better. Lily Allen's Mockney version is not haunting, it's just silly. I don't mind her voice for her own songs - somewhat karaoke but that's her style - but this was sung so beautifully in the original and she just makes it sound wrong

    Ah I see :)
Keane's original version of the song is lovely - they could have just got the Keane singer to do an acoustic version and it would have been perfect, not Lilly Allen :(

Of course by forcing the bear out of hibernation early, the hare has doomed the bear to starvation. Unless the bear eats all the animals gathered around the tree.

People still watch adverts? What's all that about then?

Why not? A lot of creativity goes into the making of many of them.

I thought it was lovely, and I did tear up, but then I had just watched the Elvis programme, and was feeling a bit sad. :D Well, that's my excuse, anyway.
