I can't believe these are still turning out the same music after about 30 years. It's always been the same with the woman wailing in the background that adds zilch.

    I think you mean Lorraine McIntosh, she doesn't wail, she's got quite a sweet voice actually. Sometimes she even sings lead.

    I think you may want to listen to the lyrics a little more, at least from 'Raintown' anyway.

    I loved Deacon Blue back in the day.

    Great catchy, sing-a-long songs.

    I went to see them playing at Ingliston, but the venue was crap.

    Not familiar with their more recent stuff, though. Need to check it out.
