OTA Update issue

in Humax #1
just tried to update the software to 06. I selected manual option said yes to the update. The Humax rebooted and then crashed with the error code E-OS

any help would be appreciated

    Thanks for your reply. Quick newbie type question, does a factory reset any recordings stored on the HDD??

    Honestly I don't know.

    I only just got the thing today so I have only been searching around the forums, which is when I came up with the topic for your questions.

    Unless it forces a full rebuild of the system I can't see why it would.

    No, it won't delete any recordings. But it will delete your list of recordings to be made, and it will reset channel lists and do an automatic search - thus wiping out any manual searches you did.
