I can't wait for another album from Lana! She's one of my favourite artists to have emerged during the 2010s. Hopefully no more glitches will happen with her tour and we might get to see some new material being performed!

Lana is selling a lyric book at the tour and the lyrics for Honeymoon are in it.

Lana's open air Dallas concert cancelled due to a freak thunder/tornado storm:
    http://www.stereogum.com/1800514/lana-del-rey-apologizes-for-last-minute-dallas-cancellation/video/

Darn. Well main thing is as long as everybody is alright. That link also contains some superb HD footage of the first gig in Houston that has finally been uploaded too.

She's also apparently put the lyrics to new song Honeymoon in her tour book. Strongest indication yet she will be singing the song sooner rather than later on the tour? We'll see at the next concert.

Oh wow! Thank God everyone is fine! Scary stuff!

The Honeymoon lyrics seem really, really beautiful! I'm hugely excited for this new album!

"I've got my red dress on tonight...." Lana @ Sleep Train Amphitheater Chula Vista, California:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spiM8yz_BYo

She's literally letting the music do the talking with these concerts, no press invited what-so-ever. Really admire that, proper DIY indie ethic.

No new songs yet but the hype is starting to build to a climax. Lana's fans have started asking people that star in her new video for hints about it. Really nice little interview with one of the models that stars in video by Del Rey Fan:
    http://lanadelreyfan.com/exclusive-interview-with-cole-stroud-from-lana-del-reys-new-video/

Looking through the various fan circles a lot of them seem to want this video to be for the song she first mentioned when she announced the album; Music To Watch Boys By.

Looks like Lana has shot 2 videos. Guessing that's Honeymoon and Music To Watch Boys By?:

    http://lanadelreyfan.com/i-have-two-beautiful-videos-shot-already-reveals-lana-del-rey/

    From Lana's own instagram message:
And that honeymoon is a beautiful futureretro record and I have two beautiful videos shots already xxx”

All sounding very positive for the albums release. Love that phrase: "futureretro" too.

And although the journalist seems to be a bit overly critcal of the absense of a Lana/Courtney duet (which was surely never going to happen), I'll take this LA Times review of the Endless Tour to be positive:

Got to salute Fearne Cotton for signing off on her Radio 1 show playin' Video Games:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-32844583

    http://www.nme.com/news/various-artists/85615

I was secretly hoping Lana's new songs would be ready for Fearne's last show but it didn't quite work out that way. Never mind. Lets face it, Fearne got a lot of stick for becoming a Radio 1 DJ but all things considered she ended up being one of the more level headed people on the station. And yeah I think she should be proud to be the person that took a risk playing a certain song called Video Games and brought Lana to a bigger audience. That's what good DJ's do, shame more aren't like that in the post John Peel era.

This is a bit random but never seen this video for Hundred Dollar Bill before - https://vimeo.com/104176259 Doesn't look either even though it's an old song

All things considered September seems like as good a time as any to release the new album. Lana will have time to do some publicity and hopefully her label will give her some support this time.

The tour is still getting rave reviews and it’s all looking very positive going forwards to the Honeymoon’s release:

    http://www.detroitnews.com/story/entertainment/2015/06/01/lana-del-rey-heats-up-chilly-night-at-dte/28291209/

And just my thoughts on the comments above:

UV: I think most of Lana's "core" fans loved it. If anything its status seems to have increased as time has gone by. It was by no means a flop, it still shifted over a million copies. Ultimately a victim of major label politics and the fact that it’s more alt rock influenced sound was perhaps always a hard sell to radio and to some of Lana's more pop orientated fans.

Pure speculation on my part but I'm guessing Honeymoon will neither be Born to Die 2 or UV 2 (as some are predicating) but perhaps a bridge between the two.

Sifter: There are so many really great homemade videos of Lana's material its unreal isn’t it? With her fans also making them too the lines become really blurred between is something Lana has made herself or not.

This fan made Pretty When You Cry really impressed me recently. I hate that horrible unused Marilyn Manson video footage of Lana on the receiving end of some domestic abuse, but I would have to credit how the maker of this has used it against Lana's model shoots is quite arty and gives even more impact to the meaning of the song. Also shows Pretty When You Cry might not have been a bad choice of single:

I also loved Ultraviolence and can't believe it wasn't a much bigger hit than it was. I was disappointed when Lana abandoned it so quickly.

Will just firstly say I think this story has a giant wiff of red herring to wind up fans, but what the hell, I'll link it for fun. According to this:
    http://www.directlyrics.com/and-lana-del-reys-first-single-from-honeymoon-is-news.html

....one of the models in Lana's new video is claiming the actual release will be this month.

Like I say I'd take that with a giant pinch of salt, I don't think this guy would have access to inside info like that. That said late June is perhaps not unfeasible, you'd expect a single about a couple of months or so ahead of the album. We'll see.

It will only be out this month if she does a Beyoncé. I would say September seems more likely.

I know people will say I am biased, and it’s only a snippet, but that was bloody lovely :). More heavenly music from Lana!!!

I don't want to get too giddy about what release schedule she might be on, but is this an indication the release is imminent? We'll see.

And fresh off the tour, she's started performing Florida Kilos live:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrzWKH2GL0Y

Great to see it make the live set.

Just a silly little observation with the live shows too, but love how she has been playing 1959 classic instrumental Sleepwalk by Santo & Johnny Farina before the show starts. She knows her music.

Florida Kilos was one of my favourite songs from the album - despite being a bonus track - and I remember the Ultraviolence song poll had it placing high too.

The crowd seem to be loving it, singing along.

I've been very tired from work recently...which is my lame excuse for totally missing this....

She only went and performed Honeymoon A cappella live :o:
