I've been listening to 'Born This Way' (album) just recently and this song is SO good. When I first got the album in 2011, the two songs that stuck in my head were 'Heavy Metal Lover' and this.

Brilliant production and even the "oh, oh oh"s are catchy.

I know it's a fan favorite too:

    Scheisse is amazing!

    My top favourites from this album were: Hair, Heavy Metal Lover, Electric Chapel and Scheisse. They could of been amazing singles but i don't know what the public would of thought of Heavy Metal Lover....:blush:

    'Scheiße' is great, definitely one of my favourite Lady Gaga songs. It stood out to me on first listen too, and I much prefer it to any of the singles she released from 'Born This Way' (with the exception of 'The Edge of Glory').

    Gotta admit, I never liked the song much, in comparison with other songs on the album, the intro is too long, and the lyrics make no sense (whether they're supposed to or not doesn't matter, I just don't like them). Not to say it's a bad song, because it is catchy and the production is great.
    My favorite songs off BTW were, and still are, Judas, Bloody Mary (especially this one), and HML. I never liked The Edge of Glory much, either.
    Also appreciate Fashion of His Love and Hair.

    Great fun catchy song. I really love the Born This Way album. A lot more than I do Artpop, that's for sure!

    i think this is the ones the fans all wanted as a single, but she went with 'you and i'.

    i would have loved to see a video to it :(

    Scheisse was instantly my favourite song off BTW album - for me it was just an instant, great listen! I also really like Heavy Metal Lover, Electric Chapel, Marry The Night and of course Judas :)

    I think she missed a step not releasing that - I would have liked it to have been the 1st single. I just think it could have been really cool. I understand why she went with BTW but I think Scheisse would have been an awesome album campaign opener!

    Also, sorry pet hate - it's not Scheibe - the ß is 'ss' in english, not a b!

    Well they were official singles. so of course videos would of been done for them

    I do wonder if Gaga had a lot of control over her single choices for this era or as a whole. If she did, i am perhaps 80-90 per cent sure this would of been a single.

    sounds okay. don't get the deal with lady gaga, her image is way more interesting than the music she puts out, which just sounds average to me..

    I hadn't heard that track before. It's a good 'un. Perhaps it didn't get released as a single because of a) the title, I could imagine even UK radio censoring that and b) It's quite similar to Judas and if Gaga/the record label had to pick between SchieBe and Judas, the latter had more opportunity for publicity and controversy, the video did at least.
