Dabs have the worse returns/repair/customer policy I have ever had the unfortunate experience of using, more than once!
I've bought quite a lot of items for work, these are just 2 examples of my experience.
Bought a HP computer unit, 6 months later some of the keys on the keyboard stop working, contact Dabs for a replacement keyboard, they tell me I have to return all the computer package, this is totally unrealistic as its used every day on somebodys desk, Dabs would not budge on this policy. I just bought a new keyboard, not a lot of money but its the principle.
Very recently bought another HP PC package that was advertised with 'double memory'
The computer arrived without the extra memory, I spoke to Dabs who said the extra memory was posted sepparately. When I said I though the 'double memory' should have been installed and therefore tested in the factory I was told it was not.
The computer had a security bit holding the case together so I asked Dabs if I opened the case myself would this invalidate the warrenty, they told me to ask HP and not them as its HP provide the warranty and not Dabs, granted HP provide a warranty but Dabs provide the first 12 months guarentee dont they acording to the sales of goods act.

I've used both for nearly 8 year without 1 problem.
Better than Maplin.
Check BT Shop as well (it's basically the same as Dabs), but the prices and delivery charge can sometimes be more favourable in one than the other.
Edit: If you use Scan, make sure you get the free delivery via the Hexus or AV Forums. It's saved me a fortune over the last couple of years.
