This season seems to be more gruesome than the last one, particularly with regards to the women being used for blood. Also, who else's stomach turned along with Mary's when she learned that they were eating George? :o

I'm surprised a UK broadcaster hasn't picked this up yet it's pretty good.
I watch it via a vpn and WGN America.
This show would fit nicely on WATCH or possibly Sky Atlantic or even SYFY, pity it hasn't been picked up in uk though.

The one that played Mercy was a bit pantomime but who would say no to Mary Sibley? She's well up for it too.

I watched one episode and, despite the presence of Seth Gabel, decided that it wasn't for me. However, if it came on Netflix or Amazon Prime, I might try again.

Thought it was a good ending to the season. I very much doubt that Mary is really dead, though, because I think there's going to be a 3rd series. I'd be surprised if the actress isn't it it.

I thought it was a good ending for this season as well.

I hope there is a season 3, because the story itself seems left up in the air.

I was mixed on season 1 but the characters and the subject matter was what kept me through season 1

But season 2 was a total revelation. Every episode was gripping and a joy to watch. The casting of Lucy Lawless as The Countess was superb. She stole the whole season. As for the finale, wow. SImply gripping.

Along with Penny dreadful, this is might be the best horror/supernatural drama on television right now. They both put American Horror Story to shame. But it's on a channel very few people have and it still has not been sold internationally.
