They've just announced on Daybreak that Sharon is coming back to the XFactor. I don't know if it's true they're probably just picking up on all the newspaper stories

I'm glad. She was always entertaining and after the misery of Tulisa and Gary for 2 years it will be nice to see things lightened up. I hope Nicole will be back too. Is Gary coming back? I hope not.

ummm am I the only person who thought this was obvious? She disappears from British TV for around 5 years then all of a sudden she is everywhere? It was obvious what Cowell had planned

Yes, I've said so too. To reiterate: her appearances seem to have been deliberate to gauge reaction. Same kind of thing with Geri and Rita Ora last year at the auditions. Simon and his team are clever manipulators.

There was no alternative really.

I'm even looking forward to Sharon returning. I think she will still be a drama queen, but she's been through some of her own personal drama in the past few years and will be less abrasive.

Gary, Nicole, Sharon and Louis seem a cosy line up.

I think Gary will be back but Howard was just answering someone's question, he didn't say Gary was definitely going to do a third series he said it would be great if he did.

That'll certainly stop me watching.

She's a poor judge, a poor mentor and quite nasty (in a non-entertaining, non-constructive way).

Still if it's the end of the show I suppose there's little point in getting a new, fresh face or someone who'd be good at the job.

I thought Gary seemed very bored last series and didn't think he'd be back. Maybe he wants to do three series before he calls it a day.

Gary had a terrible category two years running. I think Caroline and Melanie were the only decent acts throughout his two years. I think he might well be thinking 'third time lucky'.

If Louis gets the Overs again :rolleyes: it leaves Nicole with the girls and Gary with the boys - but he only had the boys two years ago, and Nicole last year - maybe Louis will have a shock and be given the boys this year
