    i did when i was younger but there are so many charts around nowadays eg.download chart [that's the only other one i can think of right now]:o; and since they got rid of TOTP it's not seemed as important or noticeable who's no.1!

    The charts in general don't seem to matter much to the general public these days. When I was growing up, and indeed right into my 30s, myself and all my friends wanted to know what was in the charts, what the number one was, what the latest releases where. Even my mum and dad would watch Top Of The Pops and occasionally go out and buy a chart single, or an album.

    These days none of my friends, whether 19, 29, 39 or 50, seem to know what is in the charts nor what the current number one is. Maybe it is the fact we don't really have a chart music show on BBC1 or ITV1 anymore, we can get pretty much any music we want from the music channels, radio, online or services such as Vidzone on the PS3. The charts become less important to us as we can pretty much listen to what we want and like, and just ignore anything else.

    The only ones that seem to care these days are the record companies and some of the artists.
