NEW HEADMASTER CAST, TWO NEW STAFF TO ALSO JOIN
Marc Warren has been confirmed to take on the role of Waterloo Road's new "dynamic and self-assured" Headmaster Daniel "Dan" Nixon, it has been confirmed.
Warren said "I am thrilled to be joining such a wonderful show like Waterloo Road. As an avid fan of the show, when the opportunity arose to play the new Head, there was no way I was going to turn it down!"
Meanwhile, Daniel is not the only new staff member at the school. Broadchurch star Matthew Gravelle will portray new Head of Maths Samuel Bale, who has been described as a newbie who has yet to find his feet, and is hoping for a new life in Scotland and a new start at Waterloo Road.
Joining him is former Torchwood star Eve Myles as new Head of English Lucy Gaffney. Billed as a firm but fair teacher who doesn't take any backchat or rudeness from her pupils, it believed that Lucy could be an escape route for Samuel, and it is said that she may be hiding a little secret of her own...
