what would have/will be the worst outcome for this years show? Wagner actually winning or the winner's single being beaten to number 1 by 4 minutes of silence?

the worst outcome for x factor from Syco's perspective would have been if you all didn't tune in every week. But you did in record numbers so they really don't care if you think it's a fix or not as long as profits are up they are happy.

Agreed. But even more important than people watching the show is people voting, people going to see the Xfactor tour, people buying the itunes downloads etc. If nobody handed over their money for all these things then that would be a total disaster.

Wagner & the Geraldine McQueen impersonator in the final would have been pure entertainment. Give the scouse bird the contract & let the real stars battle it out on the live finale.
