I have recently got an Acer tablet and I find I can't download the Lexulous game because of Adobe flash being required. Does anyone know if there is a way round this problem ?

I assume you mean an android table. Flash has not been supported for several years now on android. However, you can still run some streaming flash videos using a browser with flash capability e.g. flashfox. I am not sure if downloading a game will work though even with flashfox unless game uses a web browser, You cabn try it - flashfox is in playstore.
If you have kitkat (4.4) on tablet you could try following:-

You would have to search for earlier versions.

I managed to download Lexulous after installing an archived version of Adobe Flash. After all that, the game is almost impossible to play on a tablet because of the small size of the letters and the unresponsiveness of the screen. however, the Adobe may be useful for other downloads. Thanks for your help and advice.
