Maybe he thinks that it could 'hurt' Doctor Who and his plans for any more series.
This thread isn't anything about that. it's about people posting what they like/love about RTD or Moffat's contribution to the show. It's intended as a positive thread about what both of them have brought to the show. Read the first post or any of the others and you'll see that.

What I like about both the show runners is that they have both stayed faithful to the Classic Series in certain ways. It would have been so easy to relaunch the show, change the TARDIS to a more modern design externally, totally dismiss the old show together and make it about the New Series completely.
They both have kept the trusted mix of old and new, which has worked in every series.
They are also both writers, which was was a main bugbear of JNT's time as producer. He wasn't a writer and therefore style often won out over substance but with now both can write their own stories, it has helped the Series and given it more stronger dramatic emphasis in certain stories of both era's.
