In the 70's it was fashionable to wear como shoes  this is for my husband not me !
You could get como bogues..or just plain comos. They came in either black or oxblood. Now I was wondering if anyone knows it they are still available?? Ive looked all over the internet and keep coming up with a site for a shoe seller in Italia not the right one lol..
So is there anyone out there who remembers them and is there anyone who still makes them.

They were leather uppers and leather soles ... brothel creepers indeed
Thanks for that Paulie I will show it to my husband ....£195 a pair lol....bet they were about £5 in the 70s
They weren't - I remember my Dad had a pair and they were about £50 IIRC. I have a pair of black Loake brogues that I wear with the kilt - they are quality shoes and if properly looked after, will see me out.

Not as far as I know Kim think they are more of a brougue type

Looking on the Harrods site the Barkers look more like Comos from what I remember .
